Hugs 4 Sri Lanka Kids was created by djdoodle to work in conjunction with the British-based charitable organization, Shiva Charity. djdoodle sponsors a little nursery school in a village called Ampara which is located just off the eastern coast of Sri Lanka, and we thought you might enjoy seeing a photo of some the children who attend the djdoodle Nursery School.

The tragedy of December 26th, 2004, is responsible for the loss of life of some of the djdoodle Nursery School children, as well as many people in the village of Ampara, thousands of people in Sri Lanka, and great losses in other Southeastern Asia countries as well. In an ongoing effort to aid and support the people of Ampara and other neighboring Sri Lanka communities, Hugs 4 Sri Lanka Kids' will collect donations from the sale of graphics, and pool them with donations from djdoodle hugBugs, as well as donations form anniedoodle Craft Mall, djdoodle and djdoodleDYO to supplement the monthly support donations and djdoodle Nursery School sponsorship to be given to the Shiva Charity.
